Overall, the experience was good. The skipper was lovely and she made a delicious lunch, appetizer and fruit platter. When comparing our experience with the captain on another boat, the captain on this excursion was just fine. I felt like he didn’t really go out of his way to make us feel comfortable and enjoy the experience to the fullest, especially given the price that we paid. We had two young kids and he didn’t really go out of his way to make sure they had a good time. For example, they wanted to go on one of the beaches we stopped at and he told us to just have them swim there if they wanted to go there (there was no way they were going to make it there and back). It would have been nice if he had planned the locations better given the ages of the kids.

We would like to clarify that on the day of your cruise, weather and sea conditions limited some of the available options. As with every trip, our captain’s first priority is always the safety and comfort of our guests.
Our sailing experience is designed around visiting beautiful bays and swimming spots away from the crowds rather than landing on beaches. Sailing yachts cannot always approach the shoreline closely, and for safety reasons the captain must remain with the vessel at all times.
We appreciate your comments and are glad that overall you had a good experience with us.
