Hallo, Rumba ligt afgemeerd in de prachtige haven van Châtillon, aan de noordkant van Lac du Bourget, op 11 km van Aix-les-Bains. Tijdslots;- Weekends, Feestdagen en "le pont" (de dag die valt tussen een feestdag en een weekend!);- Hele dag: 8 uur vertrekken tussen 10:30 & 11:00 Dagdeel: 6 uur vertrekken tussen 10:30 & 13:00 Halve dag: Er is geen korting op het tarief voor huur van minder dan 6 uur, zelfs als u de boot maar voor een kortere tijd wilt gebruiken. Weekdagen (behalve le pont); Naast de volledige of gedeeltelijke slots is er ook een dagdeel van 4 uur beschikbaar met vertrek tussen 10.30 & 14.00 uur. Vermeld de gewenste starttijd van de huur (tussen de hierboven vermelde tijden) bij het maken van een boekingsaanvraag, aangezien de standaardtijden van het SamBoat-systeem niet overeenkomen met de werkelijk aangeboden tijdsloten! Belangrijkste punten;- Comfort aan boord.... Afneembare tafel Afneembare ligstoelkussens Bimini-zwemtrap USB-oplaadpoorten en USB/Bluetooth-stereo Elektrische koelbox voor eten en drinken Ruimte aan boord... Voldoende ruimte voor 7 personen en al hun spullen en voorzieningen voor eten en drinken voor de dag plus alle watersportuitrusting (er is voldoende opbergruimte in de kofferbak voor het multiboard, twee paar ski's en een wakeboard). Houd er rekening mee dat vissen en dieren aan boord ten strengste verboden zijn om ervoor te zorgen dat de boot, zoals hij nu is, in perfecte staat blijft. Prestaties en zuinigheid..... Zeer zuinige motor maar ook voldoende vermogen voor watersport met 7 personen aan boord (zoals blijkt uit de opmerkingen van klanten). Brandstof is tegenwoordig duur en de brandstofkosten kunnen een groot deel uitmaken van uw kosten bij het huren van een boot, dus waarom zou u geld verspillen aan benzineslurpende boten als u hier met Rumba alles kunt hebben wat u nodig heeft! Watersportuitrusting beschikbaar, direct te betalen op de dag..... Wakeboard: € 15,00 Ski's: € 15,00 Jobe Onmia Multiboard: € 20,00 Alle watersportuitrusting wordt geleverd met het juiste veiligheidsvest. Alle extra services en verbruikte brandstof dienen aan het einde van de huurperiode contant te worden betaald. Meer informatie..... Rumba is in augustus 2020 te water gelaten en is zorgvuldig onderhouden, zoals blijkt uit de beoordelingen, zodat de boot en alle uitrusting in smetteloze "als nieuw" staat verkeren. Ik heb ervoor gekozen om een Bayliner VR4 te kopen vanwege het brede boegontwerp dat, in combinatie met de extra zitplaatsen en opslag die deze buitenboordversie biedt, betekent dat er meer ruimte aan boord is dan de meeste bowriders een meter langer, zodat de boot comfortabel plaats biedt aan 7 personen plus al hun uitrusting. Door de brede boeg is de boot stabiel en geruststellend gemakkelijk te hanteren. Voor uw comfort is Rumba goed uitgerust voor een ontspannende dag op verkenning van het meer met een verwijderbare tafel en ligstoelkussens en een bimini die snel en gemakkelijk kan worden opgeborgen als u liever wilt zonnen. Er zijn 3 stopcontacten voor sigarettenaanstekers en 5 USB-oplaadpoorten en een USB/Bluetooth-stereo, zodat u de koelbox voor eten en drinken (gratis verstrekt) kunt aansluiten en uw telefoon kunt opladen en de muziek kunt aanzetten als u wilt feesten! Flippers en volgelaatssnorkelmasker kunnen worden verstrekt voor degenen die willen zien wat eronder ligt! Als u op zoek bent naar wat meer actie op het water, zult u niet teleurgesteld zijn. Rumba kan comfortabel 55 km / u halen met de bimini omhoog of 60 km / u zonder. Er is een ski-/wakemast en tegen een toeslag kunnen ski- en wakeboarduitrustingen worden geleverd, evenals het geweldige JOBE Omnia Multi Position Board. Een fantastisch pakket met 6 verschillende manieren om te surfen. Dit slimme pakket is perfect voor degenen die nog nooit waterskiën of wakeboarden hebben geprobeerd, omdat ze in een van de stabielere posities kunnen beginnen, hetzij liggend of knielend, en dan gedurende de dag langzaam naar verschillende staande posities kunnen gaan. Het is ook geweldig voor ervaren watersporters die iets nieuws willen proberen - ik beloof je dat je verslaafd zult zijn als je dit eenmaal hebt geprobeerd! Houd er rekening mee dat Rumba voor mensen is die op zoek zijn naar een ontspannende of sportieve dag op het meer. Het is NIET om te vissen, wat NIET is toegestaan op Rumba om de boot in perfecte staat te houden. Om dezelfde reden zijn huisdieren ten strengste verboden. De boot is volledig uitgerust voor navigatie, inclusief alle wettelijke veiligheidsuitrusting, een anker van 40 meter, meertouwen en stootwillen, zodat u voor een pauze kunt ankeren of een van de bezoekersligplaatsen rond het meer kunt gebruiken om wat te lunchen in een restaurant - Ik geef u graag aanbevelingen voor wat u maar wilt. Ik heb een voorraad reddingsvesten voor kinderen van 15 kg tot volwassenen van meer dan 70 kg. Zodra u geboekt heeft, zal ik contact met u opnemen om uw wensen te bevestigen. Verbruikte brandstof is de verantwoordelijkheid van de klant (berekend door de boordcomputer), direct aan het einde van de huurperiode contant te betalen. De motor is zeer zuinig met een gemiddeld verbruik van 6 tot 9 l/uur voor toeristisch gebruik en 12 tot 14 l/uur voor ski/wake gebruik (met 6 of 7 personen aan boord). De boot en alle uitrusting en accessoires worden na elk gebruik volledig gereinigd en gedesinfecteerd. Rumba is moored in the beautiful port of Châtillon, at the northern end of Lac du Bourget, 11 km from Aix-les-Bains.
Time slots;-
Weekends, Bank Holidays and "le pont" (the day that falls between a bank holiday and a weekend!);-
Full day: 8 hours departing between 10:30 & 11:00
Partial day: 6 hours departing between 10:30 & 13:00
Half day: There is no reduction in tariff for rentals of less than 6 hours even if you only want to use the boat for less time.
Weekdays (except le pont);
In addition to the full or partial slots above a half day slot is also available for 4 hours departing between 10:30 & 14:00.
Please state the desired rental start time (between the times stated above) when making a booking request as the SamBoat system default times do not match the actual time slots offered!

Performance and economie.....
Very economical engine but also plenty of power for water sports with 7 people on board (as evidenced by the comments left by clients). Fuel is expensive now and the cost of fuel can be a big part of your costs when renting a boat so why waste money on gas guzzling boats when you can have everything you need here with Rumba!

Rumba was launched in August 2020 and is meticulously looked after as can be seen from the reviews so the boat and all the equipment is in immaculate "as new" condition.
I chose to buy a Bayliner VR4 for it's wide bow design which, combined with the extra seating and storage provided by this being the outboard version, means there is more room on board than most bowriders a metre longer so the boat can comfortably accommodate 7 people plus all their kit. As a result of the wide bow the boat is stable and reassuringly easy to handle.
For your comfort, Rumba is well equipped for a relaxing day exploring the lake with a removable table and sun lounger cushions and a bimini which is quick and easy to store if you prefer to catch some rays. There are 3 cigar lighter power sockets and 5 USB charging ports and a USB / Bluetooth stereo so you can plug in the food & drinks cooler (provided free of charge) and charge your phone and crank up the music if you want to party! Flippers and Full Face Snorkel Mask can be provided for those who want to see what lies beneath!
If you are looking for a bit more action on the water, you won't be disappointed. Rumba can comfortably reach 55 km / h with the bimini up or 60 km / h without it. There is a ski / wake mast and ski and wakeboard equipment can be provided for a supplement as well as the superb JOBE Omnia Multi Position Board. A fantastic bit of kit offering 6 different ways to surf. This clever bit of kit is perfect for those who've never tried water skiing or wakeboarding as they can start in one of the more stable positions either lying or kneeling and then gently progress to different standing positions during the day. It's also equally great for experienced water sports enthusiasts looking to try something new - i promise you will be hooked once you've tried this!
Please note that Rumba is for those looking for a relaxing or sporting day on the lake. It is NOT for fishing which is NOT permitted on Rumba in order to preserve the boat in perfect condition. For the same reason pets are strictly forbidden.
The boat is fully equipped for navigation, including all the legal safety equipment, a 40m anchor, mooring ropes and mooring fenders so you can either anchor up for a break or use one of the visitors moorings around the lake to grab some lunch in a restaurant - i'll be happy to provide recommendations for whichever you prefer. I have a stock of life jackets catering for children from 15kg up to adults over 70kg. Once you have booked i will be in touch to confirm your requirements.
Fuel consumed is the responsibility of the client (calculated by the on board computer) payable directly at the end of the rental period in cash please. The engine is very economical with an average consumption of 6 to 9 l/hr for touristic use and 12 to 14 l/hr for ski/wake use (with 6 or 7 people on board).
The boat and all equipment and accessories are fully cleaned and disinfected after each use.
I am English and speak French and my wife is Mexican and therefore speaks Spanish as well as English and Italian fluently so between us we can welcome you and explain everything in several languages!

La journée sur le bateau de Simon a été parfaite.
Le bateau est neuf et très bien entretenu.

Parfait ! Simon est très sympathique, arrangeant, avec une excellente communication. Tout s’est passé à merveille. Le bateau est super, pratique, tout équipé et très fonctionnel. Simon permet de régler l’essence directement en fin de journée sur base de la consommation réelle du bateau calculée par l’ordinateur ce qui est très pratique (pas besoin de passer à la pompe). La location de Rumba s'est très bien passée. Simon est très sympa très accueillant et son bateau est au top. Nous avons eu de la chance avec le temps et le lac est toujours aussi sympa à naviguer. Les enfants ont adorer le wakeboard. On reprendra certainement Rumba lors d'un prochain séjour sur Aix les bains.

Simon est très organisé et de bon conseil. Le bateau "Rumba" est quasiment neuf et en parfait état. Ma femme et moi avons passé une superbe après-midi. Encore merci à Simon pour son accueil, dès que nous repasserons dans la région, nous relourons Rumba!!

très bon bateau, confortable. Nous étions 5 adultes, nous avions facilement de quoi nous reposer sans être les un sur les autres. le franc bord est haut ce qui peu rassurer les familles avec de jeunes enfants. . Simon est très précautionneux, il a de très bons conseilles pour les lieux de baignade en sécurité.
Le soleil était au RDV, nous avons passé une excellente journée.

Les differents échanges ainsi que l’accueil de Simon sont de grande qualité !
Rumba est un bateau tres confortable, nous étions 7 et nous n’avons pas manqué de place ! Il est tout equipé pour pouvoir egalement manger.

Le bateau de Simon est incroyable. Il est comme neuf, aucun soucis durant la location.
Très spacieux, nous étions 6 et nous avions largement la place pour une 7eme personne.
Propriétaire très sympa, très maniaque donc une propreté irréprochable sur le bateau.

Très bien, le bateau de Simon est impeccable, il convient tout à fait à la découverte du Lac du Bourget et du canal de Savières.

Très belle journée passée sur le lac à bord du superbe bateau de Simon.
Pleins de conseils avant de partir, sur les petits coins sympa à voir.
Même si une tempête a écourté notre journée Simon a pris de nos nouvelles et est venu sous la pluie nous accueillir au port.
Un grand merci pour la location de ce bateau au top de l’équipement.

Bonjour,
Le bateau de simon est tres pratique ! Spacieux, et puissance parfaite pour le ski nautique ! il est tres stable sur l’eau, dôc top aussi pour la balade.
La petite échelle permet une remontée sur le bateau trés facile.
Nous etions 7 et nous avons passé un tres bel apres midi sur le lac !
Simon explique tout trés bien, il est accomodant, joignable et rassurant pour permettre une sortie réussie.
Nous avons pu garer notre voiture pres de chez lui, tout pres donc du port de chatillon et du bateau.
Des que je reviens dans la region je sais qui j’appelle pour un tout de bateau entre amis.

Avec des vacances d’été réduites à presque rien pour raison pro, cette journée de bateau devait être une réussite. Pari pris il y a 10 jours.
Le résultat dépasse nos attentes: météo parfaite, bateau nickel et notre hôte dispo et efficace, tout était super. Merci Simon et à l’été prochain!

Après midi parfaite, le bateau est neuf et très agréable à conduire. Tout le nécessaire pour wake et ski disponible et en super état. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et de très bon avis sur le lac. Tout a été parfait!
