This listing is not by a private individual, it’s for an Italiamare boat rental and is subject to the company’s T&Cs. Unfortunately we were unaware of this when committing to the rental. Five days before collecting the boat we were informed that we were required to spend every night in a marina 1930-0730, and these must be pre-booked via the company. We had intended to spend some nights at anchor, weather permitting, and be flexible about our itinerary hoping for a relaxing and peaceful experience.
No flexibility was permitted. Over 48 hours we were inundated with ‘hard sell’ messages pressing for our answers. In a busy working week this was really stressful and unpleasant. Requests to stay in the home port of Baia, Bacoli (to avoid extra marina costs of £100-£150 per night) were repeatedly discouraged with dire warnings of impossible conditions. In the end one night was allowed, it was no different to any other marina.
T&Cs should be transparent. Don’t make the same mistake as us!
