Charter experience was far below the high-end, fully serviced vacation we were promised and paid for.
From the start, the boat was not ready, provisioning was incomplete, and our paid early check-in was delayed by more than two hours. There was no proper itinerary or planning, and we had to research destinations and restaurants ourselves.
Our biggest disappointment was the hostess service. Breakfasts were late and extremely basic, there were almost no snacks, aperitifs or desserts, and we regularly had to set and clear the table, serve ourselves, wash dishes and even clean the boat. Fresh food we purchased was left unused and wasted.
The dishwasher was already broken before departure, several maintenance issues were unresolved, and my husband even had to repair door handles himself. On Friday, both the hostess and captain left, despite us having paid for their services.
Overall, the service, preparation, cleanliness and attitude were completely unacceptable for a premium charter.
