Boat was good with many new items , I was its first charter and as youd expect there was a few things needing sorted but thats to be expected. The infurling mast was very difficult as sails were old and batten. Batteries worked great.
Unfortunately the trip was really let down by a poor choice of guide / skipper from the company. They had used an individual that just wasn’t up for a customer facing role. We didn’t have one conversation the whole week and with only 2 of us on board that wasn’t fun. He spent much of the day and night on his mobile to his family and as he didn’t use headphones it was very disturbing to say the least. Just the wrong person in the wrong role. He smoked as well albeit he tried to keep that away from me.
It didn’t make for a happy week hence only 2 stars.
