Hallo, ik ben Edu & Monica

Dear Samboat team, First of all I apologize for the late response - I continued travelling after sailing and wanted to receive an opinion of my friends. I would split my review in two parts. First, Edu is a great skipper, I could learn from him very much. He kept the yacht very clean and well managed. He shown many interesting places. I think he is excellent for a skippered charter. The area of sailing is great Second, and I think this is the Samboat fault, I ordered a yacht for BAREBOAT charter, not skippered. I mentioned it several times in my written conversation. But Edu decided to remain with us all the time. Since we are all old friends sailing together for many years presence of some one else was not expected. Some technical issues we faced that made the sailing less comfortable that we expected. The water maker was not working and sent for repairment so we had a limited access to a fresh water, to a shower. Also we had some issues with the air conditioner.

Thank you Edu, Thank you Monica! It was a perfect two weeks trip. It was good organised from the first moment till the end. Edu knows all the nice spots and recommends the best time to visit them. Sailing, diving, snorkelling and even free diving - Edu is an expert in all this activities. The catamaran was very good equipped and very clean. It was enough space for 10 people. It is quite fast under sails and light to handle. Edu was very polite and careful. The crew security is very important for him. We will definitely come again to discover new islands and dive spots with Edu.

Edu & Monica were perfect host making us feel totally at home on their lovely sail boat. They have a wealth of knowledge on sailing and diving in the area and made sure all our expectations were not only met but exceeded. We came away with enhanced knowledge of all best spots to visit, much better sailing skills and lovely introduction to diving. Could not ask for more, thank you!

My wife and I had an amazing experience sailing in Thailand with Edu and Moni for our honeymoon. We did not have to worry about a thing during the trip, we trusted Edu to the itinerary and every day was perfect. Sailing with Edu allowed us to see more of the Andaman Sea and Phang Nga Bay then I could have hoped for. My wife, who has never stayed on a boat before, says she could not have had a better honeymoon, and she wants to do this trip again. Every night we were able to experience food from a different local town or a beachside resort. While underway Moni would make sure you had lunch and snacks and kept the cabins clean. Edu met us at a local grocery prior to departure and let my wife use their stove (she enjoys cooking). I love to scuba dive and Edu being a dive master meant personal guided dives along some shallow reefs which is just another of the benefits offered on his boat. I hope to sail and dive again one day with Edu either here or in the Balearic islands. A++++

Edu was simply fantastic. We were two families with 4 teenagers for a total of 8 people plus Edu. Edu has great knowledge of planning great destinations and always being safe with regards to weather conditions and routing. We had great beaches and anchorages, excellent diving and the boat was in very good condition. Could not ask for anything better for a trip. We wish Edu & Monica a wonderful wedding celebration.

Es war super! Edu & Monica sind überaus freundlich, hilfsbereit und geben sich größte Mühe, dass man als Gast einen schönen Tag hat. Everything was perfect! Great and very warm welcome from the captain! Very family friendly and super proactive and supportive. We spent a whole day until the sunset on the boat with 3 smaller kids. They had a lot of fun and with all the toys it’s a very good equipped boat! We’re looking forward for our next trip already!

We had a great time sailing with Edu and Jenny in the Andaman Sea. Very easy to communicate with and he showed us many nice spots, beaches, snorkeling and more. Can definitely recommend and you will surely have a unforgettable experience. 10/10

We really enjoyed sailing with Edu. He is very helpful and take us to many spots for snorkelling. He walked me through sailing . I enjoyed subwing activity and his hospitality was great. All other team members extremely happy. Highly recommended.

The boat is perfectly maintained. the cleanliness of each part of the boat is noticeable Edu and Jennifer was charming, professionnel and discret. Their compagny was of the most enjoyable. The meals concocted by Jennifer were tasty. We appreciated the fruits dishes. Edu initiated us to the subwave. It was a very funny moment. They were very welling to making our stay on board the best it can be.

We had a fantastic day aboard Edu and Monica's sailboat who are very professional, caring and attentive. We made several stops in beautiful coves and made full of activities (stand up paddle, sea kayaking, snorking...). We asked to eat on a beach restaurant, Edu took us there in a zodiak. At the end of the day we set sail offshore to observe the sunset, only dolphins were missing...

La experiencia no ha podido ser mejor. Recomiendo encarecidamente. El trato ha sido cercano y muy agradable y la jornada muy bien organizada en la que la máxima de Edu y Mónica ha sido que disfrutaremos del barco, la mar, y la isla. Detalles como no mirar el reloj cuando acababa el día y regalarnos una puesta de sol inolvidable marcan la diferencia. Repetiremos pronto, seguro. Gracias!

Edu y Mónica fueron muy agradables, pasamos un día estupendo con ellos en su velero por Menorca. Es verdad que nos recogieron un poco lejos del lugar donde hicimos la petición, pero finalmente pudimos aparcar bien. Por lo demás, un día estupendo en velero!

Der Tagesausflug war wunderschön, wir hatten noch einen Heiratsantrag an Bord und zum Sonnenuntergang redeten wir noch über Gott und die Welt bei einem Glas Champagner. Man merkt, an erster Stelle stehen bei Edu und Monica nicht die Einnahmen. Sie wollen nette Leute kennen lernen und einen wunderschönen Tag haben, das hatten wir dann auch! Pasamos 5 días estupendos con Edu y monica a bordo del tururut, fuimos 6 personas y estuvimos súper cómodos tanto en el barco como con ellos, visitamos calas, aprendimos de navegación, entre agua y mucho sol. Desayunos en medio del mar, comida en una cala tranquila o cenar en medio de un puerto ..... Una experiencia para repetir y que sin duda repetiremos !

Extraordinario. Edu y Monica son el mejor plan de Mallorca. El velero es divino, conocen la isla al pelo, tienen mil opciones de actividades para pasar el día y es una jornada completa, no pueden dejar de navegar con ellos, son lo más recomendado para visitar la isla.

Une experiencia estupenda, la navegación muy agradable, siempre buscan calas resguardadas para dormir bien. La comida riquísima y Edu y Monica hacen que sea todo perfecto. Los niños han disfrutado con el kayac y el paddle y mucho mas aun con el buceo.

Our 4 days trip with our 5 kids on this boat was the best family experience ever! So friendly and good with the kids that it exceeded all of our expectations. Our hearts are full of unforgetable memories of snorkeling, cathing fish, kayaking and many more. It was sad when we had to leave - and we will definitely come back again. Pasamos un día fantástico en familia con Edu. Puso todo de su parte para que estuviéramos a gusto, incluso se llevó a los niños de excursión a una isla a buscar lagartijas, los disfrazó de piratas y en todo momento estuvo relajado con la hora, sin prisas por volver, sin agobios para resolver algún contratiempo mostrando tranquilidad y cero estrés durante todo el día. La experiencia con Edu y Mónica durante este pasado mes de agosto fué genial. Fuimos con nuestros tres hijos y lo disfrutamos un montón, se adaptaron a los niños, sus explicaciones fueron muy amenas. Edu et Monica vous accueillent à bord et s'occupent de tout, intendance, repas ... Trés bonne ambiance. Kayaks paddles bouée equipement de plongée... tout est à votre disposition. Entre 2 navigations vous pouvez plonger en bouteille ou en apnée (cours et assistance par Edu et Monica). Bref le bonheur

Hemos ido mis dos hijos de 7 y 10 años mi mujer y yo a. Uedtda primera experiencia de navegación y no ha podido ser mejor. Lo primero porque Edu y Mónica son encantadores, están al tanto de todo y muy profesionales. Los niños con ellos genial y sus explicaciones continuas de navegación y del entorno te hacen sentirte participe de la experiencia. Además tuvimos la oportunidad de hcer el bautismo submarino de mi hijo que fue realmente emocionante. Espero que este comentario ayude a cualquier familia o grupo a decidirse. Os otros lo pensamos mucho y tuvimos la suerte de encontrarlos. Lo único que no hicimos bien fue contratar un solo día pero eso lo vamos a arreglar seguro...

Me va faltar espacio para expresar mi agradecimiento a Edu y Moni. Un barco cuidado y cómodo lleno de material para actividades deportivas, en un enclave espectacular del que el patrón no sólo domina cada cala sino sus rincones e historias, pero lo mejor los anfitriones, nos hicieron sentir en familia y como en casa desde el primer instante, mil graciassss a los dos, sin duda volveremos y no olvidéis que os esperamos por Madrid con un buen chuletón.
